Automation Engineer Intern

Connect Odoo to everything around it so data moves on its own and people stop retyping it. You'll work with APIs, webhooks, n8n-style automation tools, data cleanup and migration scripts, and some AI-assisted internal tooling.

What you'll do

• Build automation flows between Odoo and other tools using APIs, webhooks or n8n
• Write Python scripts to clean, normalise and migrate data from spreadsheets and legacy systems into Odoo
• Add logging, error handling and retries so automations never fail silently
• Prototype AI-assisted tools for repetitive work, along with a way to check their output
• Write short docs so the next person can maintain what you built

What you need

• You're in your final years of an IT or related degree, or recently graduated
• Enough Python or JavaScript to build small projects on your own
• An understanding of HTTP and JSON, and you've called at least one API
• Basic SQL and basic Git
• Availability for a full-time or part-time internship in Nha Trang

Nice to have

• Experience with n8n, Make, Zapier or a bot you wrote yourself
• pandas, or other ways of wrangling CSV and Excel files in code
• You've used an AI model's API in a personal project

What you'll learn

• Designing integrations that fail gracefully: idempotency, retries, logging
• Third-party APIs and Odoo's XML-RPC/JSON-RPC interfaces
• How real business data migrations are planned and run
• Using AI effectively while keeping quality under control
